Default 305's on 17" rims

was curious why nobody sells 305 on 17" rims.
is there a engineering problem with those 2 sizes that you just cant run those sizes? im trying to run 305's but cant find anyone selling them. preferably looking for NT05 or Nt555 G2.
or am I just SOL and have the forbidden rim size lol

Why would you want a 305 tire on that?
9.5" wide = 275 or 285 tire. Stock SS/WS6 wheels are 9" wide and run 275/40/17s from the factory.
Make sure you measure to be sure before buying a tire.

Ok it might be a lot wider,
because right now I have 275s and I have a lot of room left of the rims it looks like.

Go 315....whats 10mm more. And yes, they will fit perfectly and they are perfectly safe.

I've been using 315's on my factory 17 x 9 wheels for 17 years. They wear perfect and last 15,000 miles every time. Looks much better.

Mickey thompson makes a tire that fits its a drag radial street strip tire305/45/17 its what i might go with and they said it is recomended on a 9.5-11.5" rim. But if 315s would fit id rather go with 315s
