Whats the best 18" drag radial out there?

I only know of Nitto and MT making 18" drag radials. I heard Nitto was having problems with a lot of there DR but could be wrong? Anyone have the MT ET streets in 18"? Most racing will be on the street (1/4 and highway runs), I will have somewhere around 700rwhp with nitrous so does either of these get better traction?

also what size should I go with? I just looked them up and they have
295/35-18 R Speed Rated Price Each: $210
and
315/30-18 R Speed Rated Price Each: $244
Could I take these tires to 140mph without problems?

The BFG's don't last for anything. A few good burnouts and you'll be wondering where your tire went. An ET Street will outlast a BFG drag radial by a LONG shot.

The speed rating is for a *sustained* speed of 140. If you run 140 in the 1/4, you're only seeing that for a couple seconds tops so your fine.
I need some 18" drag radials too, but I do alot of highway driving and don't think anything other than the Nitto's will last. The last set of Nittos I had though didn't hook for **** at the track and were worse on the street. I wish there was another option out there.

I was searching and couldnt find a 18" ET street? I heard they made one but maybe I am wrong.
I used to have Nittos on my 17's and they were ok. Got a lot of miles on them

I have the BFG TA DR's and not any complaints. I hook very well with a minor burn-out! So far I have cut .2 off my 60' times, more to come once I figure out the launch. See below...

You must be careful in the wet at the very least. Once the tread wears some lets say to about 3/4 used, driving in the rain will take alot of care not to overpower the tires or hydro plane. But for average driving or a weekend car or to from the track should be O.K.
