I didnt use them on my Evo's. They fit perfectly without any problem. The lugs stay torqued & never seem to come loose.

BTW- for lugs, Im using the gorilla lugs, the have a tool that is used for each lug & it fits nicely in each slot...

on my HPR5s there is alot of play and you have to try to center them or they do no center and vibrate the car horribly. this baffles me why some guys do without them and other guys (like me) are having the worst time in the world. i bought the centering rings and the shaking is 95% gone. but that last 5% is still bothering me. i got another idea from a wheel shop that im gonna try out as a last resort but if that doesnt work im gonna sell them and pick up some TT2s and pwdercoat them

Is it safe to say that if the hole in the center of the rim is larger than the hub, then we need to have an adapter ring?

the hub diameter on our cars is 70.3mm....i havent been able to measure the hub diameter of the evos yet (lack of tool) but i beleive from what i felt, it should be a 73mm bore. i ordered a new set of lugs and hub centric rings in that size so ill let you guys know if i was correct.

I had wheels on a different car that didn't fit the hub and they broke some of the studs, so I've been concerned about this even after they said it was ok. I'm glad this topic came up.
Thanks for your help.
