Default How much air pressure should I put in my tires??

About a month ago I had a new set of rims put on my car, and new tires. Well the other day I just thought I'd take a look to see if they were all aired up evenly. Well the psi gauge said 35 on all of the tires exactly. I'm just wondering if that's right? If I had to take a guess I'd say there is to much air in them. Oh and they are Brigestone Potenza's 275-40-17's. Thanks for the help.

I think the door sticker says 30 PSI all around. I run 32 front and 30 rear. (I don't like the "bulge" in the fronts at 30 PSI) I would think at 35PSI you'd start wearing the centers prematurely.

With 275's all the way around, I'd run with 30 psi on all 4. I have 315's on the rear, and have to run with 27-28 or the tires will wear in the middle faster than every where else. But still run with 30 in the fronts. But I plan on running with no more than 15 in the rears when I go to the track.

I have 275/40/17 on my 2001 ss, and 30 psi is the max load pressure. I would'nt go over 30 psi. On the driver side door it also says 30 psi.
