Default TTM/KDW combo rubbing front wheelwells

I'm definitely an idiot for not doing enough research before I made a number of purchases . I have 17x9" TTM's (black) on all four corners with a -45mm offset (well within the range that was posted in the Wheels/Tires FAQ thread) mounted on 275/40 BFG KDW's. I had these mounted, balanced and installed today at a local Discount Tire shop, but they called me up during the install and notified me that the front tires rub the wheelwells (plastic portion) when either tire is clocked to the far right/left. Granted, I'm sure that pictures would be helpful but I'm not sure how to go about solving this problem. I'd contemplated about trimming the plastic, but I wanted a second opinion.

To make things worse, this issue is at stock height, and I recently purchased a set of H&R lowering springs (yes I did buy my LCA relocation brackets, too). What problems will I face with this with the exception of poor exhaust clearance and more rubbing issues?

I wish I could help, but I really don't understand why that size would rub? Maybe the trim is just loose?

Have you checked it out yourself personally? The front inner fender material is flexible and it's ok if it touches a little bit when nearly fully locked. You may not have a problem.

Dont worry about it at all. My TTII's with nitto 555's(275/40) rubbed that plastic piece, and my pro stars rub it as well.

Thanks! I've been careful within the past two days of driving it, but the car hooks well with the KDW's for being practically a stock car.

It's not a big deal... My old prostars and racestars did the same thing up front.

A bracket to pull the liner away from the tire is about the only thing I can think of . . .
