M/T et street radial 325/50/15
I have a 93 Z28 M6 with roughly 415rwhp, 10 bolt w/3.73 posi. I was thinking of getting the new Street Lights and running these tires on them for street/stip use. I will only be taking it to the track a couple times. I just don't want to put out the money for two sets of rims and rubber. I realize these tires are not good in the rain, and I don't drive in the rain unless i get cought in it. What do you think of this idea? Advice needed

Ya you are right, I just love big fat boots in the back. What do u think i should go with 26" or 28", x 10.5" or 11.5", street slicks, or radials? Maybe i will just buy some M/T tires for my salad shooters and get a nice rim/tire combo for everyday use.

ok so my goal is a cost effective street/strip combo. It is between stock salad shooters and a pair of rear bias ply prolly 26-27x 10.5. Or i get a set of 17's all around with hoosier 315x35x17 drag radials. Do you think the hoosiers would hook well? I have done alot of searching and have not come across any numbers using these tires on the track. I would really appreciate some help on this.

really wow thats impressive. is it an automatic car? I was reading somewhere the hoosiers hook better on m6 cars cause they are a little softer. However the m/t would probably be better for street use.

Ya those tires are bad ***, I have them on my car. I can leave a light on a 100 shot without heating them up and all the do is bark for a split second. Thats putting down 500rwhp. ]:}

I ran the 26's for a while cam only, 400hp area.
26's...
I had to step up to the 28's exact size you are talking about when I put the bottle on it. It just fried the 26s in 1st on a 100 shot.
I just got done building a 347 for it, 450ish hp range, with a bigger shot on it. It's fighting for traction a bit down low but still hooks better than the 26s.
325/50s...
Also, its a PITA to get the big tires to fit in the wheel well. be ready.

Your cars looks really good guys! Thanks for the information this is helping a lot. So what do you think for my car though, 26"x11.5" or 315x35/r17?
