No. See the first post on this FAQ: https://ls1tech.com/forums/stereo-el...nsoon-faq.html

Kee Audio offers an assortment of speakers that will work.

So what's the problem with them? I know they have to be 2 ohm to work properly. Any recommendations? They RF's that are in the sticky are discontinued I believe.

No, they don't have to be 2-ohm to work properly. They have to be components to work properly (not coaxial).

Recommendations? Check with Kee Audio - he has a variety of speakers that will work well with the Monsoon system.

EDIT: My mistake - I was thinking doors not sail panels. ArkBird96 is correct, the sail panel speakers are bass only. In Firebirds they are not 2-ohm, they're dual voice coil 4-ohm. Each of the voice coils is run by a separate channel of the amp so you need DVC replacements or you will be giving up half your signal power.

I wouldn't. Unless you have rewired the system, the sail panel speakers are mid-bass speakers only and are wired as such. The previous owner of my Formula tried putting Sony coaxials in the sail panels. Not only did they sound like crap with little bass, one of them also blew.

I replaced mine with the Bazooka 6.5in subwoofers that Kee Audio sells, and it was a night-and-day difference. Hope that helps!

Right, you need to read the sticky I pasted above very carefully. "Firebird coupes have... dual voice coil 6.5S (4-ohm + 4-ohm) subs mounted in the sail panels..." There's a ton of information in that sticky and the Firebirds are NOT the same as the Camaros!

If you are looking for a good inexpensive option, I'd recommend going with the Bazookas. I installed them in my Firebird and have been extremely happy with them: https://ls1tech.com/forums/stereo-el...ll-w-pics.html (My method was a bit overkill. Its easier for some to just turn the speaker slightly and use self-tapping screws to secure the speaker.)
