compustar makes it for the m-6. i have it. when i get to where i want to go i put the car in nutral. trun the key to the off postion and take key out. but the car keeps running. then when i get out of car i shut door. and car turns off and sets alarm. now if i get back in car with with out startingit. it will disingang the system.

just get on compustar site.

and remote start are great on like a turbo car. you can start it while i walk out of amll. so oil is warm. and has built in turbo timer.

If you can get it setup right it's far from a very bad idea.

I've had a remote start for a year and set it up so if it's in gear it won't start, without having to go through the steps most companies use on manual cars. I did it with some relays and mag switches. Two mags, one on both sides of the stick (front&back), and two strips of mags a set distance from where the stick engages the gears. So one strip in front of the 1,3,5,R and another behind the 2,4,6.

Getting them set the right distance is a little tricky, so that in neutral they don't trip, but in gear it will. But once done it works like a charm. And if for some reason it does fail your in the same boat as before with your ebrake and all.

I never really liked the whole procedure you have to go through before exiting the vehicle to remote start it when you come back, but thats just me.
