I think he meant the feature where u push a button(like Ferraris have) and the car starts not the remote start alarm! I have a remote start alarm and would also like one of those push button start feature.

If you're referring to a "remote starter", I would highly recommend the Viper 791xv....nice range, the remote has a paging feature to give you feedback indicating that the car started and the alarm works like a charm.
As for "push button ignition", I don't know how much it would cost to accomplish this in an f-body.

A push button one isn't too hard to do.

It will probably cost around $75 bucks all said and done. Most people are using an S2000 starter button off ebay.
Hope this helps

That's called a remote start alarm! Not a push button ignition! It'll run you bout $300+ installed.

$300 bucks or get off my ***, freeze a little, get some exercise, and start my car. Or sit in the parking lot just listening to it while it warms up. I really don't see the need for one. Especially if you start it while walking to your car. Just sit there 30 seconds longer than normal. Personally I would go the route of putting your 300 under the hood. Just my opinion.

remote start on a M6=bad idea. You'll have to rewire the circuit on the clutch pedal so you can start it without pushing in the clutch. And what happens if you leave it in gear and try the remote start? Would it lurch forward? Or stall, or even turn over????
