That's surprising to hear but honestly I wouldn't mind that happening to me. My brief experiences on the track have been awesome but costly. Anything that gets my rocks off and keeps my wallet full gets a

I'd much rather race from a roll in a controlled setting. Have you checked your weight distribution on a scale? Shifting things rearward slightly sure helps it to hook up. Mine was 1440 front, 1600 rear(no driver) with an LQ4 maggie set up. I figure the Dart, turbo combo shouldn't add any weight so that will put it at 47% front/53% rear. Doesn't like to spin, launches very well off the track and on. It was just under powered. I think a Lam. Gallardo is 43%/57%.

Im picking up some corner scales today from a friend so ill see what the distribution is. my biggest fear when shifting weight to the rear is the reverse rake. I feel like this car is going to hit every bit of 170Mph. Im unsure how it will feel.

You are wise to be concerned. Once mine's back together I plan on finding a shop that understands aerodynamics and HP. I'd like to run the Texas mile some day. 200 mph sounds like something I'd like to do.

The mile is the next feat. If I could hit 200mph once I would be happy.

Man this dominator is ****. I spent an hour or so reading and BAM I have a perfect running E85 tune on the car. I mean it didn't even stumble when starting for the first time.

Loving this project. I am building my own L33 powered 71 240Z. I decided to try the CX racing mount kit. The 280's must be considerably heavier and my 71 weighed just over 2400 lbs without drive and 1/2 tank of fuel.

Killer car man. Keep posting

Thanks man. In full trim the 280 is about 250/300lb heavier than the 240's IIRC. On top of that i have an iron block/two turbos/roll cage and A lot of addiontal bracing. With all that said the car is still under 3k with a half tank of fuel

Still damn light. I went with the 06 L33 aluminum block to keep weight down. I think I will just go single turbo to keep cost down and it will be an easier setup I think. Just wont sound or looks as good Twin turbo just sounds more menacing.

Biggest issue I have right now is that the truck intake wont clear the hood. LS6 intake prices have gone through the roof. There selling for 500+ complete which is crazy for an OEM piece of plastic.

What camshaft are you running? Only mod I'm planning for now is a camshaft and springs. Turbo will be next year.

The people that sell LS6 intakes for $500 are on the drugs.. problem is there are a bunch of dumbasses that keep buying them at that price. It's amazing how stupid people are.

The Cam specs:

227/231 .624/.598 115+4

Just get a ls1 or LS2 intake. Being FI it won't make all that much differance.
