The new Chevy Camaro is one of the most eagerly awaited performance coupes that will come out this year, and thanks to a new release, it looks like customers aren’t going to have to wait that much longer to get their hands on the new car. According to Chevy, the new 6th Gen Camaro just started shipping to dealers across the United States.

Chevy states that the first batch of production cars should be at dealerships mid-way through November, and that the first few production vehicles are either the SS or LT models equipped with the LT1 and the 3.6-liter V6. The turbo four-cylinder  and the convertible won’t begin shipping until spring of next year.2016-Chevrolet-Camaro-2The new Camaro starts at $26,695 for the 1LT and $37,295 for the 1SS, and based on the performance figures we’ve been privy to so far, the Camaro could be the performance bargain of the year. We can’t wait to see how it stacks up, and based on our fortune telling, beats the new Mustang.
