Ford has Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Ken Block as the company’s in house drifters, but what about Chevy. Who does Chevy call when the company needs to get a car sideways? Michael Tung, that’s who.

For those that don’t know who Michael Tung is, that’s probably for the best, since if you did, you’d might be a stalker. Michael Tung is the Chassis Controls Engineer for the new Camaro. Well, that’s his day job. His passion though is drifting.

“My experience outside of work translates directly to what I do here. I’ve been drifting now for about 7 years. I do about 7 events a year and currently compete in the Midwest Drift Union.”

The man then knows what he’s talking about as he drifts the new Camaro through the corners.

“When you get it right, and you’re in a drift, it’s just like surfing. Yah know, riding a wave and it feels so satisfying.” That’s what to expect from the new 6th generation Camaro.
