Laguna Blue With a Z07 Performance Package is the Way to do up a Corvette Z06
When the new C7 Corvette was first introduced, I wasn’t exactly sold on the styling. It looked very angular, very chopped up, something that didn’t hark back to the flowy Corvette’s of old. I felt the styling would age the car immediately when the C8 is finally introduced.
However, over the last few years, the styling and design of the car has grown on me. I’ve come to appreciate that it looks like a proper sportscar weapon. I still think that the design will age it as it grows older, but with some minor cosmetic changes, the C7 could grow old gracefully, and this is an example of how to achieve that.
Between the Laguna Blue paint, the carbon fiber elements, and the Z07 Performance Package, this is exactly how I would do up a C7 Corvette Z06 if I were buying one. The blue seems to subdue the angular features of the car, and give it a much more rounded appearance. While the carbon bits add some much needed aggression to the exterior. Add to that a set of custom Strasse Wheels, and you’ve got yourself a hell of a car to play with.
