Fair-weather cruisers don’t get any better than this masterfully done, LS-powered 1972 Chevy Blazer.

There was a time when vintage Chevy Blazers were everywhere, but these days, you rarely see these beautiful machines on the road in any kind of condition. That’s obviously a shame, especially when we come across insanely beautiful examples like this masterfully redone 1972 Chevy Blazer, which is currently up for sale at Texas Best Used Motorcycles. Perhaps best of all, this vintage SUV – the subject of this week’s Track Time Tuesday presented by Nitto – isn’t powered by a vintage motor, either, but rather, a modern LS powerplant.

You’d never guess that by looking at the stunning exterior of this 1972 Chevy Blazer, which is finished in an attractive combination of Limestone Green with a white removable top. It’s a truly beautiful example of the timeless styling these old Blazers present, but this one has received a few tasteful upgrades to complement those looks as well.

That starts underneath with a set of 8-lug axles, front disc brakes, and polished alloy wheels wrapped with beefy 35-inch Nitto Ridge Grappler tires for enhanced on- and off-road performance. A set of Amp power running boards aid ingress and egress, which you’ll want to do a lot because the cabin of this old Blazer is as stunning as the exterior thanks to its classic plaid seat inserts coupled with modern goodies like a Vintage HVAC system.

All of this is very nice, of course, but the proverbial cherry on top is what lies under the hood – GM’s 6.0-liter LS powerplant with a Velocity intake, headers, and a tune for some extra motivation. The install itself is incredibly clean, just like the interior and exterior, with a blacked-out engine complementing the body-color fender wells and a smooth firewall.

Overall, it’s impossible to find a bone to pick with this amazing vintage Blazer – it’s just that good. We can only dream of taking the top off and cruising around in the warm weather months, stomping on the gas pedal and listening to that LS powerplant sing its glorious song. To us, there’s no better casual cruiser on the planet, though, with no specified asking price, it certainly won’t come cheap.
