Street Outlaws Mustang Takes on the LSX WIllys!
It’s a meeting of the Internet famous! We have a video that shows a race between our favorite LSX Willys Jeep and the Street Outlaws’ BootstedGT Mustang. Rather than an official race with a real set of timing lights, this is a more classic “arm drop” race that was held at the Small Town Weekend Street Drags in Oklahoma.
Sadly, thanks to the errors of human judgment, this wasn’t exactly a fair race. Both cars had a hard time staying locked on line when revving for the start, and there were a few nearly false starts. In the end, the arm drop was a bit half-assed and the Stang got off way earlier than the Willys. Still, it’s a lot of fun to watch and listen to, plus its great to see these two internet stars face off against each other.
As a bonus, there is a lot of external footage of the LSX Willys before the race starts, including a good look at that crazy engine.
Hard to ask for much more from a video like this, to be honest. It’s a pretty good way to waste 2 minutes.
