The all-new 2024 SVE Yenko/SC C8 Corvette is a rather attractive and powerful package, but it’s also extremely limited.

While the Yenko name is an iconic one in the realm of muscle cars, it also disappeared for decades before being revived by the company known as Special Vehicle Engineering (SVE). That aftermarket outfit dusted off that name years ago with a new Yenko/SC version of the Camaro, and that treatment has since expanded to include a number of other GM models – ranging from the Silverado to the Escalade. Now, yet another ride has joined that same lineup, but this time, it’s a bit more interesting and certainly more capable than most of the others – the new SVE Yenko/SC C8 Corvette.

On the outside, the SVE Yenko/SC C8 Corvette features a handful of upgrades including optional carbon fiber sYc side and hood graphics and custom color brake caliper options, along with optional aero bits and pieces, and various forged and CNC machined lightweight aluminum wheel options. The same goes for inside the cabin, where one will find some subtle clues include the SYC logo embroidered on the headrests and floor mats, but overall, it looks much like a standard Stingray.

That certainly isn’t the case under the hood, however, where the new Yenko Corvette has been treated to two 58mm ceramic ball bearing, water-cooled turbochargers to force feed its factory LT2 V8. That engine has also been blueprinted and fitted with goodies like a forged steel crank, forged H-beam rods, forged pistons, ARP head and main studs, CNC-ported heads, a beefed-up valve train, a custom ground cam, a custom intake manifold, unique valve covers with integrated oil separators, a beefed up fuel system, a custom tune, and new exhaust tips, which sends a mammoth 1,000 horsepower to the wheels via an upgraded transmission.

Designed to pay homage to the ultra-rare ZL-1 Corvettes of the past, the SVE Yenko/SC C8 Corvette will also be built in scant quantities – just 10 units are planned for 2024 and 50 for 2025 – though it’s available in both coupe and convertible configurations and in any factory exterior color. In fact, customers can order an SVE Yenko/SC C8 Corvette from their local Chevy dealer, thanks to the fact that SVE is a Second Stage Vehicle Manufacturer and Tier One Supplier for the automaker. However, SVE hasn’t yet released pricing for this package, though we imagine – given its scope and rarity – that it won’t exactly be cheap.
