Looking for a Weekend toy, how About a Custom Mini Nova?

I know what you’re thinking, the words “mini” and “Nova” don’t go well together, but in the case of this fully hand-built custom creation, they go together like white on rice.

Urban Hillbilly Videos, brings us this one-of-a-kind black 1970 Chevy Nova, which isn’t really a Nova, it just looks like one, but that may not be a bad thing at all, because by the looks of it, it may be faster and a lot more fun to drive! Not to mention easier to park, right? What’s even better, is that you can own this tiny bundle of fun for around 10-grand.

The “Mini Nova” features a tubular hand-built chassis wrapped in a lightweight fiberglass body and doors. Under the hood is a powerful Kawasaki ZX12R fuel-injected motorcycle engine paired to a 6 speed transmission. Speaking of the transmission, it looks like the shifts are sequential, don’t they? Lastly, doing all the intricate traction management is a Toyota 8-bolt rear differential, and be careful, because this Nova has a Ford Mustang front suspension, so it might dart out into the crowd as you leave Cars & Coffee!

This would be the perfect little ride for autocrossing or SCCA competitions, which is why this bad boy has enough clearance in the rear fender to fit a 26×14 slick tire. By the looks of it, it wouldn’t have any problem negotiating tight turns in a hurry.

I looked everywhere but I couldn’t find the Craigslist ad, so let us know if you do!
