I know the reason.
I was running a 12lb flywheel.
The car was very hard to launch with any degree of consistency..Usually the worn Nitto 555's(16") wouldn't hold the torque when the engine was rev'd enough so that it wouldn't bog.
The last time I went to the track, I borrowed some Micky T dR's..Which solved the problem of traction ,but also revealed a weak aftermarket drive shaft.
I've since added a heavier flywheel..(Still only 16lbs), A Tick clutch master(for better speed-shifts), a stronger drive shaft & BMR extreme toque arm.
The car is still more of a roll race car,though. What it lacks in dragstrip performance it makes up for 60 <->160 highway pulls (rare, but fun).
I was talking about the M6 part.

432rwhp/403rwtq. Car probably could have done it a lot sooner, I just don't drive that well. I did 12.1 @ 117 with 385rwhp/370rwtq and a slipping clutch & bad tranny.

Im making 470/410 but I have not been back to the track since I put the new heads and clutch in. Last time I ran I ran 11.83 at 122 but that was with a sticky cluth and 430rwhp.
Hey..how much difference do skinnies in the front make?

Hmmm....

I HAD ...a th350 with 3000 stall, 224cam 346 LS1 with AFR heads milled. Running a carb 680 holley AED DP and long tube headers with Vic Jr intake. My best time was 12.0@114.5 1.77 60ft all day. My motor did not make 300 rwhp ...

It all in the traction and converter for the auto guys.

non locking converters will give low dyno numbers usually 20-25% lower.

BTW new numbers coming soon... after I fix my motor. LOL

in the 1/4 you would be at about 11.1-11.3@123-125..

6.9s=10.9s

95mph=120mph

of course this isnt perfect but its a good guess..
