Should be faster...12.8 at 109
MODS:
full weight minus air/egr system/pump
plus two 12s in rear...i only 109 thou
228r cam
ls7 lifters
double springs
hardened push rods
3200 stall
3.73 gears
built 02 trans
stock susp.
street tires=13.0 @109 after cam-spinning
nittos=12.8 @109 before cam
strut bar
ls6 intake
slp lid/maf
tune by frost
pp tb
knn filter
long tubes
hooker catback
resonators-cats
think thats it
I ran a 12.8 @109 before cam dynoed at 335/336
dynoed at 335-336 before cam/stall/gears/pp tb, out of slp lm1
Ran 13.0 @109 after cam on street tires spinning ...dynoed at 376/350 all mods besides hooker catback/strut bar...may be higher dyno isnt running right
9/30/08 NOTE Car redynoed after dyno fixed on the 27th and made 364/343
I am told my mph is low...should I be low 12s high 11s ...i no i am spinning but the street tires are pretty good and i c other do it so y cant i darn it...
Suggestions:
I no I need to install my sfc and get lca relocation brakets and of course mt..
but what can i do to leave the setup the way it is and get higher mph/lower 1/4 or can I not do that

for lca relo brackets... yes, they aren't just for lowered f-bodies. they will change the center of gravity for stock height f-bodies. i've been meaning on getting myself a set too. i have the same problem your having, but in a M6 car. I of course give an easy launch, but am hitting low 13s at 109+ mph

spining does effect your ETs. an old-timer once told me than for every wheel rotating of loss traction is a tenth off your time slip.

Well you are consistent. Those 60s and 1/8th mile time are hurting you for sure. The only way to get around those needed mods would be to throw some slick on and see what happens. I dont think you will brake anything with a 3200 stall but maybe some ET Streets for starters. Your not shifting manually are you?
