Default not a typical lt1 tail light question (please come in)

tried a search already, and all i came up with was one, but not exactly what i was looking for... i know you can make all the red light up for the running lights and brake lights and make the 2 sections of the white to be revers and the turn signal BUT is there any way to make the whole red sectiong the blinker too or atleast the middle red section the blinker aslo like the lt1 cars are? i would prefer that other than makeing the white section as the reverse and the turn signal... if any one can hlep that would be great.

here is the link to the one guy that posted pics up of his, this is what i will do as a last resort, i plan on doing this friday.

Yes.

You need the LT1 tail light harness, and then you need to run a wire up front under the steering column... I'm not sure where exactly, but I've read about it on here.

How did you get the sockets all hooked up for the LS1 wiring to fit?

pretty easy man just use a file or drimmel to make the openings bigger for those little tabs to go in and once you do that just turn the socket and it sits in there nice and tight, if you come during my lunch our i will show you.
