Just get a quality cover (I'd recommend silk or satin if they can afford it), and only cover it after a wash, and never after driving it.
But, I'm glad you told me otherwise because I was actually going to go out there tomorrow and do it, every 4 sounds good so I guess i'll start trying that. Also, I'll definitely do some research on the best silk or satin car covers and direct them towards one, thanks a bunch for your help man.

It doesn't matter if your car is the DD or not. You don't put it on every two weeks, the old wax isn't that dirty, contaminated, or coming off after two weeks. You're just putting layer upon layer of wax on it. Not a good idea.

Maybe step up to a quality sealant/wax that will net better results such as BlackFire, Wolfgang Fuzion, etc.
Thanks ahead!
Thanks ahead!Well on my DD I use Wizards sealant, I love the stuff. It just seems like I have to wax more often in the winter than the other months.
I use Blackfire on my SS but I don't like how hard it is to remove it. Maybe I just didn't let it dry long enough last time. Once that bottle is used up I'm going to stick with Wizards- its durable, cheap ($15), makes the paint very slick and a little shinier, comes off very easy, and smells good
. To gauge cure times, stick a microfiber over the tip of your finger and swipe the paint in one small area. It should wipe completely off with little effort . If it smears at all, its not ready.

I guess I am used to using Wizards. It dries after only a minute of waiting.

Auto Geek is raping my wallet lately with all these Christmas specials. Just bought $200 worth of Lake Country 5.5" flat pads yesterday

see that's just another reason I'll probably stay with Wizards once I use up my bottle of Blackfire. It's just so much easier, but I guess not as professional.
