Default My own custom halos- DONE! *For sale 8/1*

Just skip to page 3, 8, and 12 if you don't want to read about the development. Page 3 explains that I may produce these. Page 8 has pictures of each color halo and page 12 has finished pictures on the car.

Well after so much pondering and frustration these are finally done. When I had originally planned on what to do, I thought it'd be a piece of cake. Instead, just about everything about them went wrong. The halos were not red (and still not red enough imo), and mounting the halos for the first time resulted in having to buy another set of headlights and halos.

These are going to be wired to the high beams and the high beam bulbs non-functional, and the factory wire harness will not be cut or spliced. For now the halos are not stuck in place and the lenses are not connected to the housings. I don't have a car right now otherwise they would be together and mounted. The plan is a black ss or z28 convertible. I think these will look mean on it and I'm happy of how they turned out. Once I get the car I will update the thread with more pictures. All feedback is welcome, I'd like to know what you like and don't like.

EDIT: these halos (that I bought) are now broken. I will be making my own set of halos by myself, and may consider producing the headlights.

I think it looks pretty mean. Nice job pulling of a fully custom headlight. so is the high beam going to be insertes to fill the hole?

I'm leaving the bulb in the high beam cause it's barely noticeable. And just in case I decide I want to use it (though I doubt it).

I'm not in to the whole "halo" rings and what not but this looks pretty damn good. Looks as if the car/headlights are pissed the hell off, lol.

Haha yeah I wanted to make sure they'd look aggressive. I don't really like the aftermarket halo headlights either, they don't flow with the car too well imo. Although at night they look good (except the catfish ones that face up )

Oh and I'm probably going to get 6000k low beams and fogs. I'm going to make it so the fogs can stay on with the high beams (halos).

Thanks! That's why I will have them hooked up to the high beams never use them anyway. They'll mainly be used during shows since there are quite a few during the year here in MI, and in rural areas. I'm curious as to if it's still illegal if I have the fogs on with them?

Looks mean as hell. I'm not sure how the laws are up there in Michigan, but I don't think it would pass state inspection here in Texas without high beams

No inspection here but I'm sure if a cop saw me with them on he'd ticket me.

Wow, those perhaps the best catfish headlights I have seen. Kudos.

How much $$ do you have into it?

I wish they offered a stock 93-97 headlight with halo's.

Thanks guys, I was considering a write up but I kind of like the idea of being different from the rest I have $150 into them but if I hadn't messed up the first time I'd have only put $100 into them...definitely beats the aftermarket ones. Yes I was aware it's illegal but they won't be on all the time.
