Ok, I ve been quiet, but I've been busy!
I finished three more sets, mailed two of them (which should arrive any day, one was already attempted to deliver), third going in the mail this weekend hopefully.
But the big news is that I got the "corporate steering wheel" with cruise and radio buttons to work with the f-body clockspring!!! So I spent the last couple of evenings laying out the receiver board, which I finished tonight. So I'll sleep over it I case I forgot something and then place another circuitboard order this weekend. The board set will also include more harness circuitboards which I ran out of...
In the meantime I'll manufacture more main boards and help those of you that already received theirs and started installation...

Awesome news. I have thought about upgrading my 98 steering wheel to a newer one but was hesitant at first but this may well be the reason to do it.

For the curious: we're in the middle of the list (at https://www.facebook.com/FierosInGermany/ scroll down a few posts), Mac62/Sparky/Qcon are the next ones to be made...
Personally, I'm totally excited to get my hands on some of the boards I ordered today. These are the ones for the C6/G6/G8 steering wheel to make radio and cruise work with the earlier cruise control units. Hopefully I'll get a new vehicle to test this on really soon, I honestly can't wait! I'll post pictures. The only thing nicer than an OLED trip computer will be an OLED trip computer you can operate without taking your hands off the steering wheel!

I will have to gauge interest in that one when the time comes, because the circuit boards will be a major cost factor if I only make a few. I'm hoping to make 10, and to keep the price two digits.

Lol, good terrible though. There is a bit over 800 just in parts between the gauge face, OLED, plx gauge, lighting components, wiring and other wiring accesories, the circuit boards, raw plastic to fab with and epoxies. Ridiculous on the surface but the goal was to stay oem looking and not have to run any external guages which for me the plx accomplishes.

Yes, that will be available to everyone as well. It will also work with the cruise/set/RA/Cancel buttons (i.e. with cancel instead of info/enter). Obviously then it will be a completely separate unit.
