Completed Wire Mod: Tutorial Inside
i have a question bout this mod for my 1994 z28.. 94's only have one connector and i didn't know how to remove the wires from the connector so i cut and spliced them. its alittle late now but as long as they all have good contact i should be fine,correct?

I wouldn't settle for using the rubber hose I can't see how would look as good.

Just finished about 20mins ago! The hardest part was getting that damn abs sensor wire. There is a clip inside of the wheel well that is freakin impossible to reach. I used a random peice of thin metal I had in the garage to break the clip off. The only other part that was left out was when you are grounding the wires to the bottom of the turn signal you need to cut some of the black tape away inside of the loom to get more slack. The Grommet to go inside the hole can be found at any home depot or lowes.
Update. It is the C105 connector I am interested in. I seem to only have a tan and pink wire there. The tan one was broken. Am i suppose to have any other ones there?

Finally did this today. Very simple. i went to o'reilly's and they have a grommet that works great. there are two gromments in the package, one smaller and another that is 1 3/4. Its a Help! package, Oil Filler Tube Grommet, part number 42301. Hope this helps people who are having issues finding a grommet. The only part that is a bitch is that abs sensor wire holder on the inside of the frame rail, i also took a long piece of metal and broke it off. when i reinstalled i zip tied it to the wire that ran down next to it. Other than that, this is fairly easy to do and well worth it in the looks catagory.
I did this last night. Thanks for the write up OP. Just a little info though for those that are doing this and think they need special tools. I learned how to de-pin connectors on my neon, and have done it on numerous occasions. All it takes literally is two small flat head screw drivers and then a safety pin... The screw drivers are used to take the plastic cover off that holds the wires in on the back of the clip. And then the safety pin is pushed through the opposite side of where the wires come through... If you are looking at the face of the clip and have the part that latches to the other end of it facing up then the saftey pin goes in the VERY top of each wire pin... I'm sure all this sounds confusing but it's really easy if you start looking at it. Just remember that the wires pull out the BACK of the clip. they do not come out the face. So just mess with it for a little bit and see if you can figure it out. It's not hard at all!
