old and good, do you have any more pics? That is gorgeous!

I have a black car, can I have a shop wet sand it, apply the cherry and then clear it?

Black looking at night and cherry in the light seems awesome. Or maybe even a blue tint instead of red.

If thats what your looking for,House of color is a different type of paint and process than a black w/a red pearl paint job.And Expensive!I had a car that I painted HOK Kandy Burgundy w/Shimmerin silver base. There is no paint like a HOK Kandy. They are awesome. You will have to make sure the paint shop that you use can shoot a Kandy. Some wont.(at least in my area.)

Dupont has a line of candy colors and one is called apple red over starry night. I think its exactly what you are looking for. You can check out a sample at any automotive paint store that carries dupont paint.

Yes you can have your factory clear wetsanded and sprayed with any color of dry pearl whether it be blue, red, or green just has to be mixed in with a clear coat. Of course they will have to follow it up with however many desired coats of just clear without the dry pearl mixed in. This will give it the effect of still a black car but anywhere the sun hits the paint you will see the color of the pearl. At night time it will just look like a black car unless under artificial light.
Candy colors are always visible in any light just has a whole lot more pop when viewed in direct light which gives it that rich "candy" look to it.
