Default Got tired of the orange LEDs in my odometer/trip meter. . .

BTW, you need to be VERY careful when disassembling this. . .and soldiering this. . .and reassembling this. . .

Lots of little things you can do wrong, and then, it gets expensive

And then, since I can't leave well enough alone, did the ASR and foglight switch modifications also. Replaced the original bulbs w/7000 blue LEDs. Will have pictures of that later. basically just like the ones on Keliente's site here. . . http://www.keliente.com/switches.htm

Had flash on. . .

Bright little buggars ehh?

Package as it stands currently. . .more to come!

I have no life.

After posting this on a local board last night, had a friend hit me up to do his 99 TA tonight. Did the odo/trip meter swapout in about 70-80 minutes start to finish! TAs are SOOOO much easier than Camaros because of the dash setup!

Excuse me for my ignorance with the camaro guages ... but didnt they have a "film" behind to give the orange glow? or is that only with the T/A? If i am anywhere near correct could you post up on how you removed the film? i read that replacing the bulb wont help. Cluster looks sick though man!

ElanorSS, took me about 2 hours start to finish for my Camaro having not done it before. The gauges for the TA/Firebirds pops out easier over the column.

Gun5, ALOT of finageling(screwing around w/the fitment and custom cutting a bracket to hold the stuff together). Made a post about it some time ago. https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...hlight=humount

Ehatcher, no film. Orange LEDs w/a piece of frosted plexi. Did a friends T/A last night and had same.

The film is only on the t/a's, and it is only on the actual gauge overlay and not the odometer. You cannot successful remove the film. You can try using acetone, but it will turn out like ****.

Duffster, do you have LEDS in your gauges?

Basically, you've probably got the rubber walls misaligned w/the clear glass. If you look at it VERY VERY closely, you can see where the impressions on the rubber are and try your damnedest...(is that spelled right) to realign it. GOOD LUCK!

Take your time, works well. Took me two hours for mine and a night later, about 1 hour for a friend.
