Meguiars NXT tech wax............
Bought the stuff last year & was not impressed with it.
Tried it again today. Put it on after wash & clay bar on the SS. Let it sit for almost an hour in the garage @ 70*. Stuff still came off like it was not dry enough. It kind of smeared and left streaks. Had to rub a lot with the microfiber towel to remove the smears.
not finished with the car yet. Only did the hood & front fenders. Just put wax on the passenger side. Just venting about the wax now.

Sorry to hear that because i use that wax and love it. Was it humid out cause alot of times i will have trouble if its really humid with it but other than that it dries pretty quick for me unless i get wax happy and put to much on lol. Though i also dont use a microfiber cloth because i use to have trouble with smears marks when i used the turtle ice wax stuff or whatever its called. I now use cloth diapers because they are really soft and seem to do really well.

No, I just did my xterra with Mothers wax, and had no problems. Same issue I had with it last year. Just thought I would try it again. I'll stick with the Meguiars gold class for the SS. I have so much F!@#ing wax. Just want to use this up.

haha me too. i got a cabinet in the garage just filled with almost everykind of wax. i used mothers before i used the meguires and i really liked it and worked well. i guess i just like changing waxes up. mothers is really good though because my dad who hates change and use to say nothing beats the good ole' turtle wax used mothers and liked how easy it came off.

If its too hard to take off you are putting too much on!!! I did that the first time I used the NXT and it took me forever to get it off. Put it on kinda thin next time and it came right off.

I've used it too, I never had a problem getting the wax off (did you spray it down with water and dry it by hand?) but, it doesn't seem to hold up too well. seems like after the 2nd wash it would need another coat of wax.

Runs & drives great now. clutch & tranny feel totally different. The TQ arm feels just like the stocker did on the street. No added noise or vibration. You should have come to hanks tonight. There was a small Stang gathering.
As for the wax, not hard to take off, just left smears. Like it was wet or something.

if you are having trouble removing it, then it is probably being applied too thick.
thin, thin, thin is the answer for application .. let it cure 20 - 30 minutes, depending on humidity, then remove ..
another cause for streaking can be uneven application.
Gold Class is a great looking wax, but it has very little durability. if it is your only protection, you need to be applying it frequently.
