Default Blue Carbon Fiber SS

If you don't think this is the peak of automotive design, you may like boy bands and male vampires.

Amazing vehicle in every aspect.

However...

I will never understand people's fascination with the carbon fiber look. CF is a great material, and I understand using it from a weight savings and strength perspective. But the look is just something I can't get into.

And I prefer Bach to boy bands.

That's cute, you think the Veyron is the peak of automotive design.

Here is the transmission:
Transmission(s) 7-speed DSG sequential

Everyone looks like a bad *** with launch control and a F1 style transmission. The next big thing for cars will be a button to have a track plotted by GPS and let the cars computer accelerate, brake and turn for you, I hope the lameness will stop. However, I know the masses are lazy and talentless with little desire to attain a skill, this doesn't bode well for the manual transmission and clutch pedal set.

Moral of the story: some of us prefer doing our own banging, not have it done for us.

I still feel the Veyron should be offered a manual transmission. The creating of the Veyron is what is astounding, it's built to aerospace standards. Not being a hypocrite, dim wits. Try again.

Oh really? If you search on here long enough you will find I state I like the gt-r, veyron, and 458. What I've also stated is that I would prefer a manual transmission in these cars plain and simple. No back pedalling there.

Whats the point of discussing the transmission choices of a vehicle you or i will never be able to afford?

Peak of automotive design = "gimmicky", "for old, lazy F1 wannabe's"

How is that not contradictory? Further, given your previous bashing, how is that not hypocrisy?

The Veyron is far more then just a transmission. The car as a whole is an engineering marvel, try Googling Bugatti Veyron and watch the Nat. Geo. special that goes through the building process of the vehicle. I think anyone would appreciate the effort that goes into the creation of the vehicle.

Was never crazy about the Veyron's appearance, but the performance is certainly adequate enough LOL.

So if you don't like the transmission you can't like the design of a car? Well that sucks. Guess that means I don't like Enzo Ferraris anymore since they don't have an m6 from the factory.

That car is so sexy. I wouldn't care if it was as locked down as the jeeps in Jurassic Park.
It is obvious that the transmission is far superior to what is in our cars and if the price wasn't a concern I am sure almost all cars would have them.

STILL REALLY REALLY WANT!!!

the greatest car ever bult is the mclaren f1 period

any one doubt it just go look at its racing heritage (it wasnt desgned to race BUT whooped *** in a detuned from the street version) still the fastest NA car ever. doesnt need 20000 dollar tires to do 240 better looking and a mans car!!!! not a rappers toy or rich oil barons play thing......

in every respect more a rewarding car and far better than any car then or since
