My next project: CTSV Drifter....Your thoughts Lately I have been playin with my buddies RX7 LS6 and OKcrusings C5Z06 race car and its time for a new project.
Here's the plan......let me aid that I have a full metal fab shop and friends with chassis fab degrees etc.....So Ill do most of it myself.....
04-06 CTSV Maybe a T2 CTSV
full gut to 3300lbs
No interior besides dash
4 racing seats/custom brakets
full cage.
Built motor for TQ
All suspension mods......
Basically it will be my fun illegal 4 person drifter....What do you guys think? I am willing to wait 6 months to buy one to save some cash and get a raged one with an 06 rear in the teens' and go to town with it....
They are just so unique and I would love to own one for 40 years.....

I would LOVE to see this! just make sure to put a better paint job on this one!!! I dont like the paintjob on the other drift V... something about the checkers on the back and the color that makes it looks like a test car rather then a drift car! very bland in my eyes... keep us posted!

Its funny you guys mention the moore project! I am good friends with Damian and I know Dado......I know all about there car. It was mostly stock beside the 11k penskes......It only dynoed like 360. Damian and Cash worked on my Z06......
Anyways.....This is my personal beater toy......I want to put for seats in it and have four of my buddies with helmets on and just have some fun......
This is just for fun and I would like the V in my collection of cars...Once 09 hits, they 04-05's will hit in the teens and now were talking....

Not to hijack your thread, I'm finding some mufflers to sit after my x-pipe on my vette inside the tunnel; that or some supertrapps to hang out back. and SOON! Is that muffler dude close by ?
That way I can stop being a whiny wimp and actually drive the car on the street without waking the dead or attracting cops like flies on poop.
But you neeeeed to do this car, the more I read about the commodore VE rear (the pontiac G8 rear) the more I'm liking it as an option. I know Katech has the K.Spec version of the CTS-V which has some mods as well.

YES, lets do this build, we can make the cage at my ranch and maybe start stripping my 69' convert....
