Default Fidanza 6.5 twin disk review.

Finally got the clutch broken in and Im getting used to it.

The driveability is great. Pedal feels like stock, and there is no chatter at all . You can even ease off the clutch very slowly without touching the throttle and the car wont stall or jerk. :cloud9:
But when banging the gears this thing grabs nice!

This thing really almost engages as nice as a stock clutch, I went from a spec 3+ which wasnt bad either and this feels 100x better (plus now I can get into gears at 6,500 which I couldnt with the spec).

The weight of this setup is amazing, total combined weight is 31lbs for the clutch , flywheel and both disks.

The only downside to losing so much out of the drivetrain is I need to get a re-tune since im cammed the car doesnt like the RPMS dropping down alittle faster, but I think don at slowhawk could take care of that.

Heres a short rev video and some pics.

Yea I cant imagine a cammed car liking the revs dropping that quick. Let me know how the retune goes. Sucks that if I do something like this im gonna have to pay 250 for a retune. I got locked out of 4th a couple days ago trying to shift at 6700 but it goes in fine at 6500 and im on the factory stuff. It even went into 4th on spray at 6500.

Yep Im hoping that when i do a clutch ill be able to afford a FAST intake and throttle body at the same time to get my moneys worth out of the tune. Wish I had the knowledge to use HPtuners but its too much money on the line if i mess up lol.

max don't you have a 160 thermostat? if so you should have the tuner turn the fan temps down our car hasn't seen anything over 186 degrees idling in 91 degree weather!

On the other hand car sounds sweet and its good to hear the clutch doesn't chatter!

ya that temp was the hottest the car ever gets, I think the fans were on.

I shut the car down ,went inside my buddies house got the camera by the time I started it back up the heat got to it.... We have also had 90 degree days here In CT so that doesnt help.

The highest Ive ever seen the temp is 196 ish. Normally it says around 185

Under normal driving conditions on the highway it stays right around 174-177 seems to be running great.

Update : this ****!ng junk is slipping already

less then 2k on it , with 400 whp 369 tq.

Im hoping I just glazed it after beating it for a bit, and with some cool down and some easy driving theres a chance it will still be ok.

But I dont think it should have slipped from a simple first gear dump with 245's
