Default Anyone know how to reset the navigation?

So my CTS still says the previous owners name on the nav every time I start it up. Can I fix this by myself or do I need to take it to a dealer?

You can do it yourself. i turned personalization off on the car. But under the main menu then feat something on the right side of the screen. And the rest I would need to be in from of the car to do.

I am assuming you are speaking of a V1 CTS-V and not the new one.

yep, the car is a 2005. Now that I think about it, it still resets the mirrors to the PO's old settings also.

turn off personalizations. Or reset them to your own. All under those menus. I just leave it off but one day ill set it up. No real need since NO ONE but me is driving my MTHR FKR

If I ever sell this car I'm going to get the name of the guy coming to test drive it and program it into the car before he arrives. Then he'll start it and when the message pops up saying "Welcome _______" I'll look at him and say "weeiiirrrd, you two were destined to be together it seems."

That is hilarious and almost perfect....you shouldn't be selling the V though!
