Not sure if this is a viable alternative to the stock blower, but it will be available for the V2 as well as Chevrolet Corvette (C6), Camaro (2010+), and the Pontiac G8. I'm guessing not a huge improvement over the potential of the 1.9L or larger displacement alternative. Cool design though.

I don't know what design engineer Dan Bronsten meant to say, but Formula1 engines have been N/A for years, so there aren't any intercoolers (let alone special dual-pass intercoolers) in F1.

The design does look cool, particularly in the wrinkle black finish.

Starting in 2014, they are going back to turbos with a 1.6l V6

I think the E-force blowers look like ***. These HB blowers look really nice. Wonder if they will make one for the cathedral port?

I'm guessing Laminova heat exchangers, based on the configuration in the pics?

Hes probably talking about the 1.6 V6 Turbo engine that F1 is going to in 2014when they move away from the 2.4 V8.

I do! Just cause its fast doesn't mean it can be ugly!

The eforce isn't ugly. It looks hella better than the original maggies and makes better power...I do like the way the new Maggie looks but need to see what kind of power it makes

The TVS series blowers make very good power. The Eforce has a longer runner so that helps low end but with a roots, low end power really isn't an issue anyway. I didn't really read the article, the HB blowers TVS series or something newer?

The performance gains over any 1.9ltr is significant. The rotors displacement is only one feature that contributes to a supercharger's performance, and the Magnuson HeartBeat addresses many areas for gains not previously tapped.

The reference to F1 is because the dual Charge Air Coolers (CAC's) use exactly the same tube/fin combination & supplier as used by several of the F1 race teams for their engine cooling systems.

The cathedral port version is being tooled now for release within the next few months. Being a modular system, a variety of combinations will be available.

Good guess, but not correct. See above.
The pressure drop accross the Laminovas at high-volume high-velocity precludes them from being ideal in this application.

They are based on the latest series of TVS. As you indicate, while long runners are helpful for torque in NA applications as the reverb/pulse-length can assist, it is less of an issue with blowers.
I am not convinced the differing length runners for the rear cylinders in the Eforce is ideal.
