Default Rear Shock Installation

Hey,

Has anyone replaced their rear shocks? I have an 05 V and will be doing it tomorrow. Looked online to see if anything stood out as difficult or anything but couldn't find much. Any tips or links would be great! Thanks!

I'd give yourself about 2.5 hours.

Remove the rear seat (the seatback is a pain), unbolt the two bolts at the top of each shock, and unbolt the bottoms of the shocks from the wheel wells. Rinse and repeat in reverse for the new shocks.

You're using a guide that shows you how to remove the seat, right?

Thanks! It was much easier then I was expecting... most things on this car seem to be tougher then on any other car, but I was done the rear shocks within 2 hours!

Of all of the cars I've owned this is the easiest car to work on IMHO. All of my mods I have installed myself. It's one of the main reasons I purchased it instead of an M5.

I wouldn't exactly agree with this car being the easiest to work on, but then again it is all relative to what you have owned and worked on in the past...

My truck is easier to work on than my V, but then again, I can get underneath my truck without a lift.
