My engine builder was talking with magnuson about that. I haven't talked with him for a update. I'm curious what they come up with.

With all the discussion of possible engine mount sagging throwing drivetrain alignment off, the reputation of the UUC mounts going bad, and my own perception (perhaps real, perhaps not...) that I was getting more engine vibration on shut-down (much like with my failed stock mounts many moons ago), I figured it would be good to swap out the UUCs for some fresh new CS mounts. If the driver side UUC mount comes out looking/feeling as healthy as the passenger side one, well, I guess it'll turn out I was wrong.
I was wondering about this too. Just did the CS Stage 1 mounts for engine and tranny, no change in the shut down shudder. CS suggested I look into the clutch/ dual-*** flywheel or a leaky injector. That list bit is interesting as anything that could leave a tad bit of unburnt fuel in a cylinder could feasibly cause an extra couple of unbalanced revs after shutoff. Not awful but far from Caddy-like.

If we could get the idle speed down 50 to 100 rpms, it would greatly reduce the amount of the "shudder". Any reason it needs to idle at 800rpm??

Used some $6 pods off of Amazon.com. and then just used some small nuts and bolts to hold them to center coulmn plastic. Theyou are pretty solid. Drilled wires down into the column so you see no wires.

They could probably get pushed outward a little more to get themy a tad lower. But idk if you would still be able to tilt up the steering wheel all of the way. They are right at the limit of using signals and wipers, and having full tilt.

My V has been gone for a couple years, but I found this stuff cleaning the garage this weekend. Guess I never got around to swapping all the plug wires

I finally installed the CS transmission mount this weekend. Wish I had done that years ago. Huge improvement.

However, paired with the Azn shifter I've had for years it raised the trans up enough to cause interference with shift arm linkage due to the extended base of the shifter and the DS coupler bolts in 2nd and 4th gear.

Solution: I loosened the base plate under the shift boot and wedged some dense foam scrap material underneath to raise the shifter slightly and retightened. Clearance is minimal (paper thin) but it works better now.
