Thanks Steve!
Oh alot of little stuff:
-take tank to the radiator shop for the sealant (1 day)
-may have the tank powder coated, maybe (2 days)
-run fuel lines (2 hours)
-connect wiring harness (30 minutes)
-replace the under the dash harness (3 hours)
-add the needed wires to the swap for the fans, fuel pump, etc. (3 hours)
-bleed out both master cylinders (2 hours if trouble)
- fill it up with water and fuel (30 minutes)
Other than that it should be ready to fire up.
If time allows I am looking at a week tops. Maybe sooner if I get dedicated and focus on it. I have some issues such as the night shift on the CNC's I run will be out for another month or so and has put me behind, my boat is supposed to be back from the upholsterer this weekend, finishing up the wiring of my sons stereo system in his truck, and whatever else I am trying to forget about. Good thing is there is no more softball games so I will be at the house in the evenings and can work on it as I go along.

I understand the funds thing for sure. I have liquidated almost all of my other projects to finish this thing up. Looking back now I am glad I did get rid of the other items!!! I have a boat, truck and a 69 Camaro so no need for anything else. I do have a 40's Wayne 100 gas pump to do next. I may take on small projects like gas pumps or such but this will be the last major one I take on. I figure add to this one and it should keep me occupied for years to come. I have had the car now for over 17 years and its like family now. Of course everything has a price tag on it!!! Good luck on your build and let me know when you start the process I would like to either help or learn.

I took my tank to the radiator shop today and was pleased to hear what he had to say. He is going to clean it out and double coat the insides with a product similar to a rubber but not rubber. It is safe for ethanol and such. And the grand total is $80! I am stoked!!! I wont get it back until middle of next week but I would rather take it to a shop that stays busy than I would one that is waiting on work. You can almost always judge a specialty shop by the amount of work they do. If they are not busy they either charge too much or do shitty work. Thats just my take on it anyhow.

What is the thingy in the bottom of the tank in this pic? Looks good. How deep is the pump assembly? Any required mounting of the pump? O-ring on the bottom of the pump lid? Does the pump come with a level/sender? (I forgot what it looks like) If so. will it work with our GM guages or does ford use a different ohm rating?
Sorry for the questions. lol. I am on the fence on baffling my Spectra EFI tank vs. getting a new tank and doing the FirstGenGuy(and now TSNOW678) pump mod.
I am getting anxious to see/hear your car run, LOL. I can imagine how you feel. lol
thanks,
JIm
