Lookin great Tony! I'm really digging the new stance. I'd say both wheels have their place. I'd keep them both around and run which ever ones you're in the mood for! Can't really go wrong either way IMO.

Thanks Gary! I am definately keeping the rallyes. May have to invest in some drag radials.

Good call on the drag radials! The 15 inch rallyes would be a good candidate for some 275's!

I was scrolling down and saw the pic of the rallys...I am diggin' them! I love the look of old school wheels, in fact, I love the look of poverty caps on steel wheels. But when I scrolled down to the new wheels...awesome! Do what GC99TA said and keep them both and run what you are feeling. Looking good Tony.

Thanks Stan! I like the new wheels now that I lowered the car. I was actually going to send them back prior to though. I guess the squared off fenders really make or break a set of wheels. You lucky ones that own 67-68 Camaros have no worries.

Thank you sir!

A year ago I would not have pulled the rallyes off of my car. I love the looks of a rallye wheel if it is proportionate to the car. After driving this car around corners with some *** behind it, you start to realize that the taller sidewall and low speed rated tires just aren't going to work. I think the speed rating for a BFG T/A is an "S" and if memory serves me correctly, thats only good to 85mph sustained for 30 minutes before heat builds in the tire and becomes dangerous. Well I am here to tell ya that I proved that theory wrong coming back from the beach back in September. I guess if you are prepping everything to go fast, tires should be on the list somewhere.

There's nothing like the look of the factory-style Rallye wheels. In fact, I have a set of 17" Wheel Vintiques Rallyes on my car. They were a good deal for me 12 years ago when I wanted to go to a taller wheel. All that being said, I really like the look of the newer wheels, and those RPMs look great, especially at that price. Now I'm thinking about wheels...

I actually find that the 67-68 Camaro's are harder to get to look right because the fenderwell is totally round, seems (in my eyes) to be a very limited range of ride height that a decent-size wheel looks good in the round wheelwell, to get even spacing between the tires and fender lip. On the other hand, the squared off 69 wheelwells look good anywhere from stock to super low, I think

Either way, love the new wheels, they look great on that color blue..

The new wheels look great Tony. Stance is pretty good too. I'd like to see it in the daytime from a little further back, but your garage seems to approximate daylight pretty well. Storing an extra set of wheels and tires kinda sucks; I held onto my old rally wheels for a couple years before I got tired of moving them around the garage & storage. I finally sold them.

I love those wheels, they definitely make the car look awesome. Though the whole nitrogen-filled-tire thing is a complete load of BS. Had those in my 350Z, for which I substituted a 78/21 mix of nitrogen and oxygen the first time my tires got low (which was surprisingly quickly).

Bill B= Appreciate the comments! I will have to agree with the looks of the tried and true rallyes. Especially the 17" rallyes. Rocketrod has them on his car and they look great.

FroJoe= I guess I have stared at my car too long and found it frustrating trying to get a wheel, offset and tire I would be happy with. Am I happy with my choice, all things considered I am. If I weren't on a budget I would have sprung for some Forgelines. You, my friend, are the reason I chose the wheels I have. If you haven't noticed, they are similar to your wheels. Hope the pics to follow are worthy to find a place on your background. Coming from you and your talents, thats a compliment in itself.

Bandit= Thanks! Is the ride height perfect, no not really. You should have seen it before I lowered it. I tried to get outside early enough to take a few natural light pics but I failed for the most part.

93notch= Thanks man!!! When it comes to my car, I try to keep things simple and buying wheels had to be the hardest decision I have made on this build. With the variety of wheels, offsets, diameters, distributors, websites, and prices you would think it would have been easy. Seemed like every time I found a wheel I liked, they didn't make the right offset or the right diameter or the price was out the roof.

Hookem= Thank you! I agree with you on the nitrogen! The only reason it has come to pass is due to the pressure sensors on the newer vehicles. We used nitrogen on the circle track cars to aid in tire growth but it was limited at best. Its all natural after the first fill!!! Funny, I have a fellow employee that quit driving his Jeep Wrangler. When I asked him why, he stated his tires were low on nitrogen and adding compressed air would throw the balancing off. I kept my mouth shut and he didnt drive it for a month, ha!
