Thanks for the compliments! The video sounds a little muffled though. The 50 series are rather quiet at idle and cruisin speeds but are alot more aggressive at WOT.
The next time we have some nice weather I will try to shoot a video of some not-so-legal activities.

Sounds great! I have 50-series Delta's, prettymuch the biggest I could fit under there, and love the sound. The turbo helped cut back on that little bit of "raspy" sound that Flowmasters are known for, even on their bigger/quieter/deep-sounding mufflers.

I agree Joe, Flowmaster does have a rather annoying raspy sound at times and the 40's had a hell of a drone to them around a cruisin rpm of 2,500-2,800.
So since my thread is about tapped out, where are you guys on the mini-tub and supercharger install? Stan what are you doing on the 23rd of March? I am meeting up with one of our LS1Tech'rs to video his car with the new nitrous setup in Baltimore.

Just about when I convince myself that my LeMans blue ’69 is fine with its Gen 1 sbc your thread has to pop back up. You’re killing me, but thanks for taking the time to post it.

Great video, those sound great! Was there a reason you did not go magnaflow like so many others? I have 40 series flowmasters on my truck, 327 with mild cam, and I love the sound but hate the drone on the highway.

No particular reason I guess, other than I like the sound of the Flowmasters for the most part. I did quiet it down just a little and seem to like it better. The guy that did my exhaust had both Magnaflow and Flowmaster in stock. I almost wanted to sample a few of each but time at his shop was hard to come by. Our schedules conflicted on several attempts so I went with the "known". The 50 series doesn't seem to have as distinctive of a drone effect as the 40's did.

Well the 50 series sound great on your car! That would be cool to test a couple out but I hear you on the time constraints and realistically not practical. Great choice in the end, lets see another vid of the car on the road...

I am heading to Mechanicsville, Maryland this Saturday to watch/video GC99TA's car run down the strip if the weather cooperates. Gary(GC99TA) is following the Power Tour in June to Charlotte where I will meet up with him around Salisbury in the Camaro. Probably going to have to stay the night in Charlotte as I will more than likely be too impaired to drive back home. If any of you guys want to meet up just PM me or Gary. The more the merrier! Gary is driving his 99 T/A and I will be in the 69. It would be cool to get a few of us in a group shot. Any takers?

Looks like I'm about 5hrs from Salisbury so I could leave up here around 5 or 6am and get down there at 10 or 11am. Maybe grab some lunch then roll into Charlotte?
