How quickly will I roast my stall converter?

I have a 4l80e with a stock stall converter. Engine is LQ4, LS3 heads, .222/.230 cam with .570 lift, LS3 intake, 90mm edelbrock TB, LT dynamax headers through 2.5" magnaflows. I'm thinking the car might make 400hp to the wheels.
How quickly will the stock stall converter burn out?

You are putting down more power than the converter designer had in mind but your vehicle 1/2 the empty weight of the truck/van with these converters.
Additionally your car is under 1/3rd the designed working loaded weight for these vehicles so I do not think a properly cooled converter is going to be a reliability issue for you.
However, the stall will be too low for you since its designed stall is already very low and that is for the heavier vehicles. You will also lose more power with the larger converter than you would with the smaller sized aftermarket converter

It will be easier to just run hardline and rubber hose but if you want AN lines summit sells adapters to work any aftermarket cooler with AN lines. The more difficult thing for 4l80s is that you will need the proper adapter for the trans side of the cooling lines. TCI makes these but call them directly and talk to them to make sure you get the correct ones.
As for location if are not running an inter-cooler the easy spot is in front of your radiator/condenser. If that will not work due to room then get a derale fan and cooler set up and mount it under the car.

I already got those. Actually drove the car yesterday, (needs a tune but shifts fine) but I had just hooked it up to the radiator to drive it until a trans cooler got installed. I found one at summit with the -6 AN fittings after I made the post. Look for Flex-a-lite 4120-6.
So that would be mounted in front of the radiator? I guess it would go there first, and then to the radiator? Or should I put it through the radiator first?

In response to the original question:
That torque convertor can handle a 1 Ton Dually that's pulling a trailer full of horses. Don't remember what the combined GVWR is, but I would say you're pretty safe, unless you're drag racing with a gooseneck full of haybales.
