What ever happened to that V16 LS base engine GM was going to build for the Cadillac 16 concept? I would imagine it was the same thing with 4 less cyls. Just cant wait for a mass production of these LSX V12’s stroke it to a 554 Twin turbo T88’s 2000hp should be a piece of cake in this thing! Now all GM needs to do is build a Mid Engine Supercar and say good bye to the FORD GT. But that is merely a pipe dream. Ill be fine with a V12 Corvette Wait what?

These guys are doing something pretty cool. Cadillac did have this concept 10 years ago with the XV16.

Yes that V4 or even better a V6 would be very cool in a RX7 - lighter and more compact than all the LS V8 RX7 out there.

Katech built those engines for GM. At the cost of $250,000 an engine as per the words out of katechs mouth. It is on the forums here somewhere archived. About two years ago they posted a thread on ideas for new ls products. I suggested a v10 and that was their response. basically it would be too expensive.

What would a V4 cost with crank and cam? It would be awesome in one of these.

I'm glad to see you guys are doing something new and awesome. The fact that you're keeping the crossplane sound is going to make this V12 sound really awesome!

I hate all this nonsense of "Even firing orders" That's why V6's and I4's sound boring. Yamaha fixed that with the 2009+ R1. Now you guys are doing it with the LS-12.

Perhaps someone should fabricate headers for 4.3's that group cylinders 162, and 435. Or maybe a crossplane crankshaft kit for Ecotec I4's.

Who is doing the regrinding?

Maybe a company like LSM could make a master core for you guys, and then get you whatever duration, lift, split you want?
