All work is done at my house, the dorms wouldn't have liked this kind of stuff.

Extended the steering joint today. Definitely want to make some tie rod spacers to help with future bump steer.

Decided to solve an old issue the car had from when I was in highschool. One of the rear subframe nuts had broken off inside the frame rail. Long story short, I cut the rear frame open to gain access to the nut and fixed the trunk portion from a previous repair.

Just waiting on people to stop flaking so I can get knuckles.

I like that. Looks stronger than the traditional drop tie rods.

My sprint car heim joints from Speedway motors showed up today. Knuckles and hubs should be here tomorrow.

Hubs and knuckles arrived......completely destroyed. Both backing plates bent to the point of not allowing a caliper to bolt up. Condition of the box upon arrival:

Fed ex won't work with the buyer. Shipper is working with me to file a claim, and hopefully fed ex resolves this.

I'm in contact with the seller and picures of the damage were documented.

Differential is nice and snug. Got my subframe laid out in my head. Going to raise the lateral links above stock to correct geometry.

I sent a pair of steering knuckles in the mail once, with USPS. The seller received a pair of book ends in the box that I packaged the knuckles in, but it was clear that the box had been badly damaged and repackaged. Needless to say, USPS was less than helpful. I have always put insurance on packages since. The crazy part is, I was shipping them from Atlanta to Albany (GA), not exactly a long haul.

Yeah the seller purchased insurance through FedEx and a claim has been filed. If they aren't willing to work with me corporate will be hearing from me.

Thanks for the kind words! I've always been a fan of small Japanese cars and V8's. They just so happens to combine to make anew extremely potent combo.

Thank you for the kind words! I hope to be able to use the experience and the car itself as a rolling resume for future careers.

Got the front snout mount tacked into place. This is pre-bracing and just to locate the mount. I'll be adding reinforcements after the rest of the subframe is tacked into place

Also got the crossbars that the lateral links will be mounted to started
