Conversion vehicle: 1975 Toyota Land Cruiser
Engine of choice: began with LS1, ended up with 2003 LQ4 (6.0) mated
to a NV4500 5 speed.
I have decided to convert my fuel injected 1975 Land Cruiser six cylinder to a GEN III V8. I am in the beginning stages and have gathered the majority of the important stuff such as engine, trans, transfer case, flywheel, clutch, engine mounts, bellhousing and radiator.
I have contacted Speed Scene Wiring in regard to reprogramming the ECM.

Greeting from Norway,
I have just ordered my LS1 / T-56 from Oklahoma. Should be up here in the north in 6-8 weeks.
My conversion plans:
The car I have is a Opel Manta B, 1977 model. This is a german car. Equipped with a 1.9 litre engine standard. My car has been rebuilt and is looking like a Manta 400 (rally version) and also equipped with a Rover 3.5 litre V8 and a 5 gear manual tranny. But this is a rather lazy engine, and rebuilding and tuning this engine will be very expensive. Thats why I'm going for a LS1 package.
You can have a look at my car at http://www.mantav8.com

I have a '41 Canadian Dodge (same body as the '41 U.S. Plymouth) that I got on the road last April. It had an older sbc with a T10. Needing an overdrive, and wanting fuel injection, I am now in the process of putting in an LS1/T56 from a 2001 Trans Am.
Wondering what to do about headers - the car has a 2nd gen subframe. From the threads I've found and read it seems there is no clear answer yet for this besides custom build.
Here is a link to a picture of the car: http://www3.telus.net/public/molsons/41%20Dodge.JPG

Very cool! I have a 68 malibu that needs an ls1 and 6 speed. How difficult was the six speed, and was your car previously a stick?
