hey im looking to put an ls1 in my 67 firebird. i need as many pointers as i can get.

 

Pointer number 1: some great threads stickied up front of the conversions section on 67 and 68 Camaros. Not to overdo the sad demise of Pontiac (should have been Buick.....), the Camaros are good cousins of Firebirds!

After 3 years, finally finished my LS2 Miata, it's a New crate LS2 and T-56 outta a 2001 Z-28, with a Ford 8.8 IRS and 3:73 gears and detroit true-trac posi.

Finally driving it, and it's really fun.

I've already posted about my Fiero, and my plans for other swaps, but now I've done the LSx into '89 Mustang. I used a 4L60E.

 

I building a '52 Chevy Truck with an LQ4 and T56 six speed and a Heidts front suspension. Starting to make a little progress. I snapped a photo of my brother taking care of the welding duties.
