Thats cool. I thought about the 8.1 quite a bit. What does it share with the GenVI BBC's? Looks like your original headers worked fine. Intakes/Cam/Valvetrain?

headers, engine mounts. bellhousing, flywheel (396-427) internal balanced) they say a cam from 502 will fit. I just used what was in it . ol engine will scream but rev lim. at 5800 figure enough for a big block was also told I could get studs and change rockers to the adjustable type just one other thing all bolts are metric

You planning on running a KAZZ FD LSD? The torsion style in the FD really isn't all that strong. It holds up fine in my 94 RX-7 with the 420whp LS1 in there but you get ANY wheel hop and it's gone in a heart beat. I grenaded one at atco raceway in 2006 because of a little wheel hop. Split 2 of the "barrel?" gears down the middle the long way and it wedged in between the ring an pinion. Most folks go KAZZ or 03/04 cobra IRS to handle the torque.
