Have you made a set of these yet? I'm running out of options so I'm going too have to spend some $. My truck will not see the road until I get a good set of headers! I'm going with the ms3 cam and either afr or dart heads and spraying on top of it. I can't see this motor running too great on 1 1/2 primaries. If anyone has any suggestions let me know...Hopefully someone close to iowa can make me a set.

Although several people talk about it, when the time comes, few seem actually interested in spending the money. I have considered a few times making a set of headers and then sending them out to have a company build a jig to make more sets, but it gets to be kind of costly, and recouping that money requires either selling a whole lot, or selling enough at a fairly stiff price.

Wish you lived in near Tampa, FL. I'd have a vehicle to make a set on and then produce.
If anyone reads this and wouldn't mind a cheap set of custom built headers, let me know. If I have a template to make another set, we can start to produce them.

How long til you think it will be done, what stage is it in now?
How long would you be willing to go without it? The headers are going to take some time.

It is a 1994 Xcab S10 that I am putting in a 1999 LS1 into. The motor is in...wiring hooked up...just need to do fuel system...final wiring hookup...exhaust(using stock manifolds) and body panels. How long you think it would take. it is a second vehicle so time can be arranged. I have done all the work to it myself. So overall its not far from that stage. And it is now in Ellenton just north of Bradenton. I guess we will keep talking and as I get closer to the stage of completion we can work on this talk more.

I'm getting the rest of the truck ready first I'm in the process of putting C5 brakes up front and LS1 Camaro brakes out back and then I gotta build the 8.5" and do the coil overs with the triangulated 4 link hopefully I'll get that done within the next 6 months and then procure the motor build it and do the swap.
I know some body who'll make som mod length headders but they aren't cheap and some people (ahem ahem) question their buisiness practices.
also I'm on the fence as to whether or not to buy a short block and piece the rest of it together or start with a junk yard motor and rebuild it.

Firefighter... here is a link you might try. There are a couple of people local that can do the swap. My buddy said he just wanted to stay out of it, so I couldn't pass along the info.

check ma sig...also 14.2@98mph NA at LACR same day as nitrous #s. Haven't run the bottle at fontana (1275ft el.) yet. hopin for much lower 12s there I really need to do something about my 60fts.
You wouldnt believe the amount of attention my truck gets at the track when I'm squeezin. People are always amazed...real crowd pleaser too when I line up against unmodded 03/04 cobras, lightnings and f-bodies! Whatta hoot!
