s10 ls1ers
I'm also planning but I'm also preparing. I'm doing brakes/suspension wheels/tires and the rearend. Then get the motor and build the crap out of it and shove it in there.
If they're the same, Turbotime has mounts available to fit 1st Gen 4x4 trucks. Not sure if they will fit 2nd gen (I'm gonna find out sooner or later). TyDriver and Turbotime are working on a custom sheetmetal oil pan to clear the front pumpkin. Again, this fit-up is being done on a 1st Gen truck (a Typhoon to be exact) so it may not be a bolt up deal on your 2nd Gen (and I have no idea how the ZR-2 package may make things different).
Air conditioning is also a potential problem. The factory compressor location and the frame (and idler arm mount) try to occupy the same space. Not sure if its "notch-able". May have to do a high mount AC compressor. Again, you're kinda on your own there (at least for now).

I've got 2 websites for you to check out.
TyDriver's website is TurboLS6.com TyDriver (Todd) is swapping an LS1 into his Typhoon in place of the turbo'd 4.3V6 that came from the factory. He's been working on it for a long time, mostly because he's been test fitting swap parts for production.
Once the production part fitting is complete, parts should be available from Turbotime.us Again, these parts are test fit in a Typhoon, which means they will fit a 1st gen, but nobody knows how they'll fit in a 2nd gen. I expect they'll fit ok, but don't know.
Sooner or later, I'm going to find out for myself. I'm gonna drop a 6.0l truck motor into my '99 Bravada. In fact, I bought it specifically to change engines. Hoping to be able to do the swap this spring.
