Hey has any body seen that the two new guys from Trucks on Spike TV are putting a V8 in a S-10? I'm not sure what they are using yet though all they said was crate engine.

thought they were putting the stock 4L60E I know it is essentially a 700R4 but it is gonna have to have a seperate computer so I'm thinking it'll at least be the ram jet hell the muscle car guys are throwin one of those in the Elky.

This isnt the first time its been done on Trucks...Stacey did it in an S10 Xtreme except on that they used the LS1. It was a quite a few years ago...and they called it the REAL Xtreme S10. I think if you look in the Trucks archives you could find something about it.

Guys, I am actively looking for an engine/tranny and am leaning towards a t56. Will the t56 fit alright in the tranny tunnel?(not sure how much bigger than a 4l60e) I realize it will be more work to install ( considering I already have a 4l60e)

I got my headers and here are some pics
the passenger side fits without to much trouble but it looks like it is a little bit close to the firewall the driver side looks like it is going to interfere with the steering shaft as you can see in the pic.

yeah really clean that thing up!! What ocean did you find that boat anchor in anyway?
