vette bracket = vette alternator and p/s pump
truck setup = truck alternator and p/s pump...
they are all different in some little way...
The other alternative is to do some modifing of the bracket... or get a piece of aluminum and get it watter jetted... I think it will be cheaper to have aluminum brackets water jetted and make them fit the way you want to... rather than buying the vette stuff... You could just have a bracket jetted to fit the s10 accessories... make sure you get like 3/4inch aluminum that is heat treated(ie.. series 6000 which will soften if you weld on it..so dont weld it unless you want to pay to have it heat treated again...)
good luck

The C5 stuff isn't too ridiculous, money-wise....
Some examples:
1.) Water pump. I scored a brand new take off LS2 (with flat pulley for increased radiator / fan clearance) waterpump off of a LS7 crate motor (they use the same pump) for $90 (typically sell for $180 new)
2.) Power Steering pump. I bought the power steering pump, reservoir, bracket, idler, and all the bolts from a salvage yard for $150.
3.) Balancer. Bought a new take off LS6 balancer from a guy on here. Paid $40.
That doesn't include all of the parts but it is most of them. I am running a truck alternator (145A) because it was a bunch cheaper than the vette unit. Paid $55 (salvage yard) for it and I've never seen one look that new. But, I did discover that it doesn't fit the C5 bracket, and ended up making an adapter out of alum (I love having a Bridgeport at my disposal at work) to make it fit properly.
Adds up to some money, but isn't $1,000's or anything. There are some folks out there trying to sell complete used C5 access drive packages for like $1,200. That's crazy, you can buy all new parts for that kind of money.
I had the benefit of being able to shop for it a bit (bought the parts over 4 months time) before I started swapping. You may not be able to come across as many good deals.....

well, I found out that the f-bod water pump will work, and well, I am just going to buy a vette underdrive crank pulley, and power steering and alternator, because I have the truck accessories, AND bracket, so I am going to sell them (only have 5 miles on them anyways) and use that to pay for it mostly

well, the part numbers look to be the same, but if it doesnt work, no big deal, just get a new water pump, I have to figure out how I want to work the lines on the fuel rails, being as I have 4 connetors, 2 male and 2 female. has anyone tried to hook up an after market in tank fuel pump?
sorry guys, away for the weekend. hood, yes I notched it. more for the cover than the alt however, the alt just touched it.

well, I really have no problem with the clearance, since I am getting rid of the a/c rad and mounting the fans there, if I have a clearance issue, ill move the rad back or change the pulley, no big deal, but thats good news, wich frees up the money for the fuel pump, injectors, and ls6 oil pump, ive decided im going all out, no budget except what I have at the time for what I can get, especially since we sold the old motor, so if you do some of the math, new motor cost $3700(with tranny, harness, and EVERYTHING else) sold old motor for $2900, so new motor trans and ect cost = $800, plus I got free parts (intake, vette bracket, pulleys and such) and sold all the old stuff (truck intake, cam, valve springs, ect ect) so im actually with everything only about $2k into the swap, so im doing some more upgrading
ok, created a little shopping list:
corvette alternator
ported LS6 oil pump
tsp fuel pump kit with walboro 255 pump
36lb injectors
vette power steering
seat brackets(I bought APC seats, will corbeau brackets work on them?)
two dynomax bullets
underdrive crank pulley
fuel lines and an fittings
tranny crossmember
driveshaft(going single piece)
vette fuel filter
thats all I have on the list so far, sound good to you guys?

This might be a stretch but does anybody have a good condition running stock 4cyl that they pulled out for their LS1 swap?
I'm looking for one for a truck I'm getting for darn near free. And yes I know I should LS1 swap it but I need a running DD that gets great mileage like yesterday.
Please PM me with anything you might have. Thanks!!!!
