they do not look too bad. How was fitment? Also, from what i read, best motor mounts to use is the guys on here, cant remember his account name, but has the ls7 in his monte with these headers? Our monte has the stock hood but i want to put on a steel 2 inch cowl, so if the truck intake and accessories work with that, that will be nice at least until I get a camaro intake on it.

The truck accessories will fit under the stock hood with the clamshell mounts. The BRP ones however will not clear. You can use the car intake with the truck accessories with a kit someone sells on here.
Merv, did you have to massage the Hedman's to fit properly? I have a set of $260 Pacesetters here and with the BRP mounts they rub the crossmember, trying to balance the cost of selling these and getting BRP's, or using what I have, smashing them up, and getting them coated with flanges welded onto them.

Justin good to see you on this site, I don't visit S10F anymore. Good to see you still have your LT1 swapped S10.

Here's the link to the kit:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/new-produ...-270-99-a.html
The kit basically has you take the idler off and relocate it, and put the new style truck water pump on with a different belt. You only need the LS1/LS6 injectors when going to a car intake. I think you can make the car ones work on the truck intake somehow but not vice versa.

From what I understand yep. You could even make your own kit by buying a used or takeoff truck water pump and buy the belt and idler pulley from them for $95 shipped.
I'm not really sure about p/s pulley interference, I bought the KWIK brackets and used a LS1 FEAD that I pieced together from this site. Then bought the PS pump with the smaller windowed pulley off their site. Money isn't really an issue with my build anymore though

I have a brand new l92 water pump for sale if anyone is interested. It should clear the ls1/6 cable throttle bodies

yea no need to keep it unless it was going to be put to use. Even if a trashed trans can net me a few dollars, its still not worth it if it wont work. I wouldnt be doing this swap for a few years, but I figured who not ask to get teh trans from the buddy and he said yes. But now I know I cant use it, no problem.

What trans crossmembers is everyone using? I've got BRP mounts, and tried to install the BRP crossmember today and then realized it's not going to fit the car to save my life.
I've looked and found the Iceman 4L60E crossmember fits pretty nicely, but I'm wondering about the G Force one. My dad has one in his 442 and it's a really nice piece.
