I did some thread pruning. Keep the thread tech-focused that's the name of the game here.

As a little bump to this thread.

While the car is out to paint, we're gathering parts & sending other parts out for metal finishing so we can get it back together as quickly as posible after it's painted.

Also, so you all don't worry about the LS7 getting lonely, we've got an LS3 & an LS376 in to keep it company.

They are all going into Fieros.

Yeah, I need an LS3 or LS376 for my demo car.

If some dealership or supplier wanted to donate the engine, I could put some of their decals on the side of my car.

But, I'll bet ya that all they send me is a Christmas card in December.

a little update from Mark the painter AKA Firefox on the PFF forum

I sprayed one more coat of color after the last shot and the clear isn't shown in the pics. As I type here, there is another weather front moving in and we've got more heavy rain. I'm going to spray the last coat of clear in about 15 minutes and it'll be done for the night. It's looking great!

Mark the picture posting paint guy

I'm intrigued by the LS7 swap, but I have to say that I love those headlights. I'm sick of the problems with the pop-ups in my '87 GT. I've seen a kit for flush ones, but they look kind of plain and narrow.

Are they custom or modified from another car?

Darkhorizon If you don't mind keep your Archie bashing Sh*t to your self or start your own thread if you must. If you hate this setup so much why in the hell did you follow it here, build a better mouse trap or shut the f**k up. On the other forum you don't talk highly of V8 motors so why are you on a LS forum? [QUOTE]

Man, what a poser. I hate ricers that troll and try to destroy good forums.

They are from an NSX-R. They are the the perfect light for the front of this car. We had to modify the hood & front bumper to mount them. One thing you have to remember this body kit that we modified to build into this car, has a Fiberglass nose. The stock Fiero has a soft plastic nose. We had to modify the nose quite a bit to put pockets into it to mount the lights. The plastic would be much more work to modify than the fiberglass nose was.

Here's a couple of pics from when we were modifying it...

Thanks for the info about the lights. The NSX mod is not something I might be able to do, but it's certainly food for thought in looking at other options.

Yeah... TPI looks great... but i almost forgot what that meant when the LSx's came out. The LS7 doesn't need to be dressed up to look good... it just looks good because it's a bad motha!
