heres an option...

It says they can pretty much make anything to your specs, can't imagine it being cheap though. I know local pro-mod guys use there stuff, so it can't hurt to ask.

what i really need to do is win the f'n lottery to piece humpty back together again. I have never damaged it this bad pefore. especially since some of it could have been prevented with a proper bellhousing. a tough lesson to learn, that there was places like trick titanium and quick time inc. out there.

if it is structurally and dimensionally the same as an uncracked on i could most definitely use it. please keep me posted. I would be happy to pay for any associated shipping costs to borrow it as a mock up.
thank you!!!!

ringlands..... no load on the motor with n2o, it leads to a slight reduction in compression. nothing catastrophic but alas time to change some soldiers. on the upside everytime i tear it down, my friend/builder seems to pull a few more hp out of this stout little 23 deg. combo
won't know how bad the trans is hurt, until it is apart.
harness can be fixed but it will take some time to figure it out. i have an awesome friend who is an electrical guru, and will go thru that and test it for me.
need to drop rad off to get it fixed, 2 holes in it now, pick up a new front skinny, fix both headers, crushed primaries, the list goes on and on.
but the b/h for a mock up would be great! i can give it to the guys at trick to make an SFI approved piece as required.
thanks Ellis!

Taner.....get me the headers....we'll get you fixed up. On a more serious note......pull some weight out of that puppy.....how much do you REALLY drive it on the street anymore. It'll save you a ton of money in breakage in the long run. Glad your injuries aren't more serious.

lol! thanks Rob! i will get them to you later this week. aside from the transmission keeping me sidelined almost all of this summer i do drive it! this year was screwed because of it. last year it was the opti that kept me sidelined for a bit, and then upgrading linings on the clutch. i will call randy for your number in the event i don't have it. i won't gut the car. the car is inherently heavy, if i cut the roll cage out i would be a fair bit lighter, lol!!!

joelster,
i called trick, they only make them in the shape of a can, not tapered to clear the trans tunnel, oh well. it was worth a call.
thanks coach!
rob,
yeah i guess you could say i am stubborn. it will all pan out.

Hey Taner....how bad is the tunnel? If it needs some serious refabrication due to all the damage, couldn't you reshape it to fit a bellhousing that is currently available? Or is there more to it than that.

the tunnel is not pretty but to reshape it would be more than i want to get into. i just have to drop the starter and pull the other header out and motor is ready to pull. i pulled half a distributor out of the intake tonight! doh!
